This medical device relied on the RIM (Reaction Injection Molding) process. The AutoLoader consists of four unique RIM polyurethane composite subassemblies. The main housing needed to provide structure for mounted internal and thermal insulation. The door had to provide all of the above while having visual appeal and toughness. The remaining two components are internal, non-visual functional parts.
